How can I help?
My team and I work hard every single day to support residents in Queen’s Park and Maida Vale. There are several ways in which we can help:
Casework - For individual concerns including housing, benefits, or immigration.
Community ideas and issues - If you have an idea for an improvement to the local area, or if there’s a challenge you want solving.
Policy - National or local policy comments, suggestions, or concerns.
Let me know how I can help.
My casework team work hard every single day to support residents in Queen’s Park and Maida Vale.
We received hundreds of emails a week but endeavour to provide you with assistance as quickly as possible, and direct you to other sources of help if appropriate.
We will prioritise personal cases which require urgent support, so please be forgiving if policy related or campaign emails take longer to receive a response.
If you are not a Queen’s Park and Maida Vale constituent, unfortunately I am unable to make any representations on your behalf due to strict Parliamentary protocol. You can find out who your local MP is on the Parliament website: https://members.parliament.uk/FindYourMP.
If you are getting in touch in relation to my role as the Minister for School Standards then please get in touch via the Department for Education website- https://www.gov.uk/contact-dfe
Other available support:
There are some areas where we aren’t best placed to provide the support you need, but fortunately in both Brent and Westminster there are amazing networks of advice organisations offering support with debt, employment, asylum, and more.
Westminster Citizens Advice and Brent Hubs offer open-access, walk-in sessions where you can go to share any challenges you are facing and find support to access the right help within the network.
Westminster Citizens Advice
Westminster’s Citizens Advice Shop offer face to face drop in sessions at the Beethoven Centre, Stowe Centre and Church Street Library - a full timetable is available on their website.
Or you can contact them either via phone on 0808 278 7834 (option 4), or by submitting an enquiry online - www.westminstercab.org.uk.
Brent Hubs
Brent Hubs offer a walk-in advice service across Brent including Hornbill House in South Kilburn and Harlesden Library in our constituency
Different Hubs are open on different days and provide different services so check out the full schedule on their website for the best option for you - www.brenthubs.com
